In 2022, Jen Hingsbergen felt a pull in a new direction. After 25 years as a dedicated public school elementary teacher, she realized the career she had once cherished no longer sparked the same joy. Always driven by purpose and a desire to help others, she began searching for her next chapter. That summer, while still teaching full-time, Jen earned her Georgia real estate license—and discovered a new passion. Helping people find not just a house, but a place to call home, brought back the same fulfillment she once found in the classroom.

Jen’s love for St. George Island started well before her real estate journey. In 2019, she and her husband visited the island for the first time on an anniversary trip. They instantly fell in love with the area’s natural beauty, relaxed pace, and strong sense of community. Just two months later, they purchased a property and began spending every chance they could on the island. Over the years, that connection only deepened. In 2024, Jen earned her Florida real estate license and the family made a permanent move from Woodstock, Georgia to St. George Island—finally calling their favorite place home.

Jen brings a unique set of skills to her real estate career, rooted in her background as an educator. Her patience, clear communication style, and creative problem-solving abilities have proven invaluable when guiding clients through one of life’s biggest decisions.
